Service NSW enables you to live in NEW South Wales better! Service NSW was originally developed by the NSW Government to make it easy for residents to access government services online. Now, during the pandemic, COVID Safe registration has been added to make it easier for you to travel.
The government services originally provided include all aspects of residents' lives, so long as they are related to the government, you can handle them here. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a special section was created to provide COVID-19-related services. January 13, 2022: Add RAT Status
Service NSW recently announced a feature which allowed users to register their RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) status. This intends to relieve pressure on the state’s testing clinics. It’s pointed out clearly that If you test positive for COVID-19 using a RAT, you are required to register your result in the Service NSW app as soon as possible. Adding COVID-19 Digital Certificates: You can now add COVID-19 digital certificates either to the Express Plus Medicare app or to the Service NSW app.
Scanning capability available: You can scan your COVID-19 digital certificate to confirm its validity
Provide proof of vaccination: Show proof of your vaccination at the time of registration to get in faster
Enhanced security: Security enhancements to the COVID Security check-in screen Features:
Full range of government services:This includes access to various digital licenses and certificates, household registration changes for births and deaths, business and industrial development issues, social welfare related policies, education and employment issues, medical and health issues, housing and personal property, legal advice and police services. Handy COVID-19 resources:Offers access to COVID-19 statistics by zip code and access our COVID-19 Assistance Finder for benefits, rebates and offers. High security:The Service NSW App will include a number of security measures to help compliance officers and businesses check and verify customers' vaccination status, including a NSW Waratah logo hologram and a rotating QR code, similar to a digital driver's license.
How to get?
Since vaccine data is located in the Australian Federal Immunisation Register for consolidation
To import COVID-19 digital certificates into the Service NSW application, you need:
• Make sure your Federal MyGov account is associated with Medicare
• Download the Express Plus Medicare application and log in with your MyGov account details
• Select "Proof of Vaccination" and then "View History"
• Select "Share with Check-in Application" and then select "NSW Services" Is NSW Services still open?
Our service center will remain open but the hours have been changed. Check the opening hours before entering the service center. Some ways of doing business with government have changed. Driver testing in New South Wales has been cancelled until further notice. Do I need permission to travel in New South Wales?
From 11 October 2021, you will not need a permit to travel within New South Wales. Travel restrictions still apply, see COVID-19 Rules for more information.
